Fall Time

Today is day 2 of what the weather man says will be a 5 day stint of rain. It has been cloudy for the most part and has rained very little. Temperatures are supposed to go below freezing by day 3, which I now realize is tomorrow. I have heard Mammoth Lakes has virtually no fall time. Maybe a few weeks of the manzanita labyrinths fading to gold before they are covered in the veil of winter snow. A few weeks would be a long fall. In this land of short falls we also are short maple trees, or anything deciduous for that matter. We have aspens...

Don't misconstrue this post, because I am really enjoying Mammoth Lakes. The adventures I have had here go unparalleled to this point in my life, but I am a little homesick. It only took me 3 months this time, to start missing Michigan. I would call this a full paradigmatic shift. Three short months ago I was itching to hit the road and now I am reminiscent.

I am looking forward to a trip to Six Flags for Halloween. We are going to visit Jarods family in L.A. for the weekend and dress up for a night of amusement. It's going to be quite and adventure. Can you see this girl in L.A.? I am still looking for inspiration for my costume. Any ideas?
