Day 1

I'm still in Mammoth, but today is Day One for my roommates missions trip, and we share. We share failures and victories, we share tests and testimonies, so here's me taking my mission trip from day one.
We don't share toothbrushes.

These are my roommates.
I'm pretty sure they love tooth-brushing-parties as much as I do.

They just left this afternoon for Mazatlan Mexico, and on Wednesday I'll be headed for San Francisco. Saturday will find me on an airplane headed for Sweden!

I can't really go in to details right now, but remember how a while ago I blogged about God being provide? He fully proved himself for what I knew, but now it is so much easier to believe, having my own first hand experience  in it. That's how life is though, you can know something but believing it isn't always as easy. That's why I love having a God who isn't afraid to prove himself . It worked like this for me, which means it may not be the same for you, but this is my experience.
1. I was told about God, as provider, and knew how good He is.
2. I really needed to see God as provider so I told Him what I was expecting, and I set the bar hight.
3. I lived life unafraid and fully trusting that He would come through, making decisions as if He already had.
4. He really really came through and the bar I set with my expectations, used as a starting point.

I think #3 is pretty key, or at least is was for me.
This is my testimony but I know you have yours and we can share this one too. Tell me how it all goes for you.
