Scandinavia

I Googled pictures of Scandinavia and this is what I got.
Thanks Google....?

On a more serious note I am so excited for my trip to Sweden and Norway! For a while it was overwhelming and exciting and almost too far fetched for me to really put any hope in actually going. It's a reality now, thanks in large part to all of you who have pledged to help with the cost, and are praying for me. I have always known, but have recently come into revelation of the power or prayer. "The power of life and death are in the tongue" Proverbs 18:21
Be cautioned that all you say is speaking life. One of my favorite teachers, who came to school and spoke made a good point, "Sticks and stones may break my bones but your words are literally killing me." If I have learned anything so far, it is that I am invaluable and what I say and do has more power than I will ever realize, even on generations I will never meet. Not only me, but also you. You are invaluable and your words carry so much. All this to say, I have seen the power of the prayers you have spoken from your heart, and I am finding success because you are all rooting for me and I am so blessed. I hope to share with you just an inkling of the victory you are such a huge part of. I am 1/3 of the way through my fundraising so keep the prayers coming my way! I know God is good and I know He is faithful.

Here'e the map of our trip.
We are flying into Norway, mostly because it is makes the flight easier but we immediately take an 18 hour train ride to Are, Sweden. (*rough pronunciation Oh-ruh)  After a week in Sweden, we will head back to Norway and spend a week with our family there and leave through Norway. I can honestly say one of the hugely exciting points is getting more stamps in my passport, and on a continent I've never been to before.

We will be visiting  our family churches in both towns, and I am so excited about this part. We finally have the global lighthouse website up so I can properly introduce you to the lives of my family there as they post photos of life in our church blogs. SO FUN!! This is the link to the blog of the Swedish family we will be visiting, but feel free to click around and check out  what my life is like here!
