We can hold God to His promises. He is pleased when we remember His words and repeat them to Him.
Everything The Lord speaks is truth. He can not and does not lie
Does that make everything He says a promise? Can we call on Him, accountable for every word He says?
I believe that sometimes we misinterpret His words to us.Unable, with human mindset to fully comprehend what He speaks. Often He speaks in advance and our hearts get so set on what we think it is
we are unwilling to to accept if it revealed something different.
How do we hear the difference of His promise vs
His words of love over us, His invitation or just words of knowledge?
And what is commission anyway?
